Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a free trial?
Yes, all software-only plans include a 30-day free trial. Payment details are collected at signup. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to paid at the regular price. You will receive an email reminder at least 7 days before the first charge. Activating a trial uses your evaluation entitlement; the 30-day money-back guarantee on direct purchases does not apply to trial conversions.
What payment methods do you accept?
Paddle is our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record for SpectoEDU Essentials and SpectoMED Essentials web purchases. Paddle accepts all major credit cards. The Professional tiers and the Skills Lab package are quoted separately and invoiced directly.
Do you offer discounts for yearly billing?
Yes, yearly billing can offer significant savings over monthly billing. You'll see the savings reflected in the pricing above
Please note that for hardware bundle packages offered through our partner Avnet you have the option of yearly billing or lifetime pricing.
Are licenses priced per user or per machine?
Each licence is assigned to one named user and can be moved to other machines but will only work on one machine at a time. If you need Specto working on multiple computers at once, or for multiple users on the same workstation, you'll need additional licences. Contact us and we’ll recommend the right setup.
What happens if I need to cancel?
You can cancel anytime via the link in your Paddle confirmation email or at http://paddle.net . Your cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.
